College of Dentistry Strengthens Community Engagement Through Oral Health Awareness Visit
As part of its commitment to community service, the College of Dentistry organized an oral health awareness visit by fourth-year students to Al-Sumoud Primary School on Tuesday, 09/12/2025, under the supervision of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry and Oral Diseases.
The visit was supervised by Dr. Laila Abdel Nasser, Course Instructor and Pediatric Dentistry Specialist, Dr. Hossam Al-Arabi, Dean of the College and assistant professor of Conservative Dentistry, and Dr. Salem Al-Sadiq, lecturer of Conservative Dentistry.
Students delivered age-appropriate educational sessions focusing on the prevention of dental caries, healthy dietary habits, and proper toothbrushing techniques using interactive teaching aids. The initiative received positive engagement from pupils and appreciation from the school staff.
